Follow the steps below to configure your iOS or Android device to prioritize calls from SafetyLine.
iOS Users:
1. Add SafetyLine as a Contact:
- Open the Contacts app.
- Tap the "+" icon to add a new contact.
- Enter SafetyLine (1-604-662-4425) and save it.
2. Open the Health App on your iPhone.
3. Access and Edit Medical ID:
- Tap on your profile picture in the upper right corner.
- Select "Medical ID"
- Tap on "Edit" in the top right corner.
4. Add Emergency Contact:
- Scroll down to "Emergency Contacts"
- Tap "Add Emergency Contact"
- Select SafetyLine from your contacts list and specify the relationship.
5. Tap "Done" to save your changes.
Apple Support: How Do Not Disturb works
Android Users:
1. Open the Contacts app on your Android phone.
2. Add SafetyLine as a Contact:
- If SafetyLine (1-604-662-4425) is not already a contact, add it by tapping on the "Add" button and filling in the details.
3. Access Emergency Information:
- Go to your phone's Settings.
- Scroll down and select "About Phone" or "About Device".
- Tap "Emergency information".
4. Add Emergency Contact:
- In the "Emergency information" section, tap on "Emergency contacts."
- Tap on "Add contact" and select SafetyLine from your contacts list.
5. Configure Do Not Disturb:
- Go to Settings.
- Select "Sound" or "Sound & Vibrations".
- Navigate to “Do Not Disturb” > “People” > “Starred Contacts”.
- Add the SafetyLine contact as a Starred Contact.
- Under “Do Not Disturb” > “What can interrupt Do Not Disturb,” tap “People”.
- Ensure "Calls" is enabled for Starred Contacts.
