If you have a RoadPost subscription for your inReach device, you are missing the ability to send tracking information and messages to SafetyLine. Switching to a Garmin Professional subscription will unlock that functionality. The steps below will guide you through the process of switching from RoadPost to Garmin.
- Sign up for a Garmin Professional account with this link: https://connect.garmin.com/signin/
- Login to your current inReach account and record the IMEI numbers and Authorization Codes for all your devices. These can be found in the inReach Settings. You will need these for the following steps.
- Either manually remove all the devices from your RoadPost account OR contact RoadPost support to close your account (Click here for Roadpost support). This will free your devices from RoadPost and allow you to add them to your Garmin Professional account.
- Once your devices have been removed from RoadPost you can add them to your Garmin Professional account. Reference the IMEI and Authorizations codes you wrote down earlier in order to add these devices.
